Complete Obstetrics offer one-off consultations or full pregnancy care. Please call us to discuss your options.
Our full obstetric service includes alternate obstetric consultations with Ausha and Gemma as well as midwifery check ups with the New Beginnings team.
Appointment schedule
​
Initial booking visit at 9 weeks.
Obstetric consultations:
13, 22, 28, 32, 36, 38, 40 and 41 weeks.
​
Midwifery consultations:
18, 26, 30, 34, 37 and 39 weeks.
​
We have a bedside scanner for your obstetric consultations but all routine pregnancy scans need to be done by a community ultrasound provider at your own expense (the team will provide the request).
​
Delivery
Our set up ensures you have the same team of experienced Obstetricians and midwives caring for you during your pregnancy and at delivery.
​
We will already have discussed your birth plan and preferences antenatally so the team will be prepared and ready to support you.
​
All deliveries are done at
Hutt Valley DHB.

Postnatal
We are very lucky to have a dedicated postnatal midwife to care for you and your baby after delivery. After discharge from hospital, she will visit you at home and can offer support with breastfeeding.
​
You will also have a 6 week postnatal check with either Ausha or Gemma.
